I can’t believe it took me so long to figure out I could actually have pretty gel nails whenever I want, for very little money. I’ve always done my own nails, but not gel nails. No, I’ve paid for those over and over. Well, no longer. Now I can shape and polish my nails myself and use this handy device to cure the polish. No need for the salon! And gel nails are essential for me as I travel a lot on luxury cruise ships, so, hands in and out of bags constantly. With gel nails no chips! With this device no salon expense! Win/win!

I do DIY gel nails at home and bought this on recommendation from a professional nail tech. It was a great purchase and I haven’t looked back since. It’s not heavy but it feels sturdy. It’s easy to use and packs up nicely. I was getting nervous about the gel allergies you see all over social and a quality lamp is worth the investment to help avoid that reaction in addition to buying quality nail products and avoiding skin contact.

This lamp met my expectations. I had bought a cheaper UV lamp for my nails but I noticed the nail polish took forever to dry!! So I tried this and it took no time for my nails to dry, using the same nail polish. I do recommend this product!

Edited: After playing around with multiple factors, I’ve realized the lamp is not to blame – but the polish (beetles brand FYI). It seems there’s a number of people who may have reactions to that polish. That being said, taking this up to 5 because I really do love how compact this lamp is and it works well!
This is the second UV lamp I’ve owned for at-home use. The last lasted me about 5 years and I picked this mostly because of the size. It works well and is easy to store – the cord is a good length and I never have issues reaching my working surface. My only issue (that I never had with my last lamp) is that I have gotten blisters and small bumps when I’ve had to do 3+ coats of color (plus base and top coat). I try to stick to lighter coats but need to be careful with this lamp since you don’t know you overdid it until it’s too late.
That being said, I still think this is a great lamp and will continue to use it – just urge that you use a little caution and stick to 30 seconds rather than recommended 60-90 if you’re expecting multiple coats.

I recently purchased a gel nail kit to do my own gel nails, and for the most part it was a good purchase, with the exception of the UV light that came with it. I needed a better quality light than the one that came with my kit, so I purchased this one as a replacement. I have been extremely happy with it. It is powerful enough to cure the nail polish in the recommended amount of time. I would definitely recommend this one.

Just got mine, it was easy to use and my nails look great! I used DND nail polish and they look like I just had them professionally done. They’ve lasted for almost 2 weeks, and no chipping or anything yet, so I”m a fan!

Lots of lights, lights in the right place, dual UV LED, sleek design, blackened interior to reduce glare, AND multiple timing. If that isn’t t enough for you, this one has a “double power low heat” setting that turns off after 99 secods, never gets warm, and hard set my polish, with no sticky, in half the time. I didn’t even have to move my hand around or reset that one problem nail. This product delivers.

There are very few things that I can’t teach myself especially if it’s going too save me some money in the look in run. So why should doing my nails at home be any different? This UV LED nail dryer Sunuv has exceeded all of my exspectations. Talk about stoked. I Love the multiple time settings, the sleek, lite weight, but sturdy design. I can easily fit my whole hand and toes inside and spread my fingers with lots of wiggle room left over.
It came Well packed, and it comes with instruvtions, though it’s pretty self-exsplanatory how to opperate. It cures fast. For me the 30 sec took care of most jobs. I couldn’t believe it. Unless I want something very specific nomore killing my budget and myself trying to fit a proffessional mani pedi into my already hectic schedule at someone’s salon. (I’m a night owl due to my overnight work schedule so when its 3am on my day off and I can’t sleep I just squeeze myself in for my own appointment. Plus I don’t have to worry about dozing off and smudging my hard work. )
Since I’m a bit of a diva anyway I already have foot soakers, wax baths, massagers, creams and lotions for my lil tootsies. This little beauty is a welcomed addition. GET IT honnies you will not be sorry. And remember a peel off base is your friend. Ta-ta!!!!!
